Spotter — Privacy Policy

Spotter does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

All settings (selected coins, base currency, theme preferences) are stored locally in macOS UserDefaults. Optional API keys you provide for paid data sources are stored in the macOS Keychain and never leave your device.

Spotter fetches public crypto-currency prices from third-party APIs (CoinPaprika, Binance, Coinbase, CoinGecko). These requests contain no personal information beyond your IP address, which is required to establish the HTTPS connection. We do not log, store, or share any data about these requests.

Spotter contains no analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
